I got a reply this morning.
The date represents the last time the guide was checked and updated and sometimes it’s much more an issue of checking than updating.
In the physical guide we removed reference to ‘pathways to work’ interviews, as in:
Work-focused (pathways to work) interviews
As this is an out-of-date term now.
There was a section on page 27 headed:
Are the new regulations lawful?
Because we figured that after 2 years we would know if they weren’t and there was no point in getting people’s hopes up.
We also made slight changes to:
Reclaiming ESA after being found capable of work
on page 86.
The changes to the mental health guide were the same.

Hi, I was last assessed for ESA in Jan 2014 & as it was successful as getting me into the SG without a f2f and nothing has changed, I plan to literally copy the old form word for word into the new one I received this wk.
I have read it through to check it's all still correct & it is so I am hoping it will be fine to copy it.
Just wanted to check though that no one could see any issues with doing that?
I mean they're not likely to take some kind of issue with it are they? Seems unlikely with it having been ATOS then & Maximus now, but you never know what weird rules/ideas they have do you!?! so I just thought i'd ask.

Hi
Should be OK.
Make sure you send all your evidence again as well.
It actually says at the beginning of the form to send what you already have and not to get new stuff.

I am getting updated medical evidence, just a gp's letter to confirm nothing has changed. i hope that wont cause issues but will start another thread for that Q as it may help others
