Hi Calmey,
What were you doing before you claimed ESA? Were you in employment, or were you on IB? If you have sufficient NI contributions for the years 2011-12 and 2012-13 it is possible that you might be able to break this ESA claim and reapply in order to get another 365 days of benefit. Please take further advice to make 100% sure if you think this applies to you, before closing this claim!
Otherwise, payment will stop until a decision is made on your claim*. If you are put into WRAG, you will be given the backpay of the difference between the assessment rate and WRAG from the start of the 14th week of your claim until the end of the 365 days. If put into the Support Group you would receive a smilar back payment but payment would also continue as the Support Group is not time-limited.
*unless you are entitled to income-related ESA by dint of low income and/or assetts, in which case you should ask for an ESA3 form and submit it as soon as you can in order for payment to continue.
