Typing PIP form response was created by Suebnm
Have received my PIP reassessment forms.
Is it OK to type the extra information responses and include on paper please?
I will find it very hard but not impossible to write and don't particularly want anyone else to write it out. I don't want this to go against me.
Also should I staple the loose papers to the relevant sections or leave them loose?
Thank you very much.

Yes you can, I would for each question either place keep your whole answer in the comment box if it will fit or all on an additional sheet, make sure that is clear where your answers are by using something like " answered on page X of attached" and "answer for question Y", also each page should have your full name and National Insurance Number and should be numbered "page X of Y" or similar.
I would attach the pages to the forms, either a staple or treasure tag or even a piece of string through a hole in the top corner.
Finally, if relevant, don't forget to explain why you have typed it rather than written it.

Both my husband and I typed our answers. The DWP came to the house to fill out the forms for us. They ticked all the boxes and put the personal information like my name, address etc into the form. Then, in all the Extra Information boxes the DWP person wrote "Please see claimant's Typed Answers." I have nearly 20 medical conditions, at least 10 of these affect my abilities to do things. Therefore, as you can imagine, there was no room in any of the boxes for the answers ad there was no room on the form for the many consultants I see and clinics I attend. That wasn't even enough room on the form for all my conditions and prescriptions.
The DWP stapled the typed answers to the PIP2 Forms in front of us.
Both ESA and PIP assured me my typed answers would be accepted - and I got 2nd and 3rd opinions on this.
Hope this helps answer your question & concerns?
