TOPIC: DLA

DLA 10 months 3 weeks ago #88418

Hi. At the beginning of April I applied for DLA which was turned down. I phoned and asked them to look at it again. Shortly afterwards I received a letter advising me that I was to have a medical at home in June. After medical I was told it would be 3 or 4 weeks before I got a decision. I wasn't really optimistic about being awarded DLA, but kept my fingers crossed. Imagine my delight and surprise when I received a letter this morning awarding me HR mobility and MR care indefinitely and in only 3 months! Amazing!! Thank goodness for Benefits and Work, it really did help with anything I was unsure of. Thank you. :)
