Hi, thought I would share my wifes success with her claim for P.I.P. which is her first foray into claiming benefits and also the timescales.

First phone call to DWP 18/12/2013
Live on DWP system 08/01/2014
Assessment with ATOS (Edinburgh) 03/04/2014
Follow up call from ATOS to advise
paperwork sent to DWP and seek
feedback of assessment 10/04/2014
Positive result from DWP, enhanced
in both mobility/daily living 07/05/2014

So 20 weeks from start to finish
