Transferred to ESA WRAG Nov. 2011 from IB.
Filled in, and returned, 1st re-assessment ESA 50 form July 2013.
Face to face two weeks ago (Tue 19th Aug.)
I know letters from the DWP are notoriously ambiguous. I received a letter headed from Jobcentre plus (see snippet below)
Q. Is this my decision letter?
Dear Miss . . .
YOUR CLAIM FOR EMPLOYMENT AND SUPPORT ALLOWANCE
A CHANGE IN THE EMPLOYMENT AND SUPPORT ALLOWANCE RATE PAYABLE
We have looked at your claim again following a recent change.
From 12 April 2014 your Employment and Support Allowance will be £101.15 a week. . .
Susan.

I am sorry for the delay in responding I appear to be the only Mod on at the moment and was called away from the forum.
The DWP may intend this to be a Decision Letter but it is not, so I am not surprised that you are confused.
As your assessment pre-dates the annual rise in benefits (April 2014), then strictly speaking the letter is a result of this rather than a Decision although it most likely has been issued because a Decision has been made.
I am afraid that the only way you will know is to contact the DWP, you can phone them, the number to call should be on the letter that you have just received.
You are legally entitled to proper notification of any Decision that has been made, so if one has been made you should ask them to issue a formal Decision Notice to confirm it.
