That's great news derek! Thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W :)

Yes, you will get back payment - if this is a new claim you will get the Support group payment back as far as the 13th week of your claim

Thank you mrs hurtyback, just to let those who are waiting for an award to be made, I sent my form back to atos on the 7th may 2013 and on the 17th july 2014 it arrived at the dwp and today I got my letter 6th of September. One day short of 16 months. I hope this will help those who are still waiting.

Congratulations Derek. Glad you have the correct result. So sorry you have
been put through such a long period of worry.

Suddenly I am nervous, I sent my form on 9th May 2013. Such a long time.

Does it commonly take a year or more? How much do you get /week if you are transferring from SDA or IB to ESA?

Transfers should take about 11 weeks normally, however, the Government decided to throw more transfers at the system than it was able to cope with and waits of more than a year are now the norm.

You will continue to receive your current benefit until a Decision on your transfer is made, if successfully transferred then you payments will not be less than what they currently are, if necessary, a Transitional Payment will be added to make them up to the previous value.
