Tribunal Help was created by AK
Hi everyone, I have my tribunal hearing for PIP mid January 2015 and am so nervous! I suffer from POTS, Fibromyalgia, Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, and lower back pain (also had back
Surgery among other things. Forget my days varying, due to my conditions and medication I take, no two hours are the same! I live alone with 3 young children n rely on my 8 yr old daughter to physically help with my personal care. A neighbour and/ or my nephews prepare n cook all my meals in advance... But all this was ignored initially. And after requesting a MR from DWP, my mobility was put down to standard from enhanced instead!!!
I only recieved the hearing date yesterday, and am going to CAB to be referred for representation but 4weeks will fly by especially with the holidays... Also worried Incase I can't get representation in time...

I have moved your post to its own topic.

I am loathe to add to your problems with this Tribunal but I think it unlikely that you will find any assistance with your hearing, CAB have limited resources which are already stretched to breaking point and then of course there are the holidays.

You would be best advised to start preparing a submission explaining why you believe you should have a PIP award, if help is available, you will not have wasted your time as this can be used as the basis for anything the CAB might suggest and if there is no help, you will have something that will explain your case to the panel.

I agree with Gordon that you will be better using your time to prepare a good appeal submission rather than a fruitless search for help :( There are lots of resources on this site that will help you with this

Preparing for a Tribunal

Appearance before tribunals

These are a good place to start. If/when you have further questions please come back and reply to this post (as it helps us if everything is kept in the same place) and we will do our best to help.
