Hi All
I wanted to ask people about the DLA reveiws.
I had to fight for my DLA and ended up taking it to court after a year and a half.
Needless to ssy i was awarded DLA and not only that it was for life!
I now don't know what i should be doing when they decide to reveiw my case.
I wanted to take my case to the papers, as i have Lupus, Osteoparosis, savere arthritis fibramialga discoid lupus, and a few other things, these are not going to get better, they will only get worse with time, and i have been told that i will end up in a wheelchair later in life, I'm 51 yrs old and was diagnosed with my condition when i was just 41 and have had to give up work as i have flares and am just not foit to work!
I'm really worried about this, and wondered if anyone has any advise for me??
I'm married and my husband is also disabled, and we have direct payments so we can employ our own carer, she has been with us 4 yrs now.

You will be invited to claim PIP at some time after October of this year, claimants will be chosen at random and the project is intended to take several years so it could still be some time before you are asked to apply.
Whilst PIP and DLA have many commonalities the assessment criteria are significantly different so you should have a look at our PIP Claim guides to get a better understanding of how you will be assessed. See
