I sent the form to claim pip it had to be sent back by 6/4/15 I had a text message to say they had received my form and it could take up to 16 weeks for a decision. today I have had a letter to go for the pip assessment in Cardiff approx. an hour and half to get there but on the form I told them I have arthtritis in both hips and walking is difficult but also I suffer from mental health problems never go out alone can I refuse to travel to this appointment because I know I wont physically be able to

Hi k,

If you wish to challenge the location of the assessment, and try and rearrange to a nearer location or obtain a Home Assessment, "Yes" you should e-mail Capita.

HI I need some advice regarding my home visit on Friday 24/4/15 when I filled in the form I told them I have arthritis in both hips and also suffer from mental health problems ie. depression and anxiety but since sending the form I have had to have blood tests for rheumatoid arthritis and be reffered to see a rheumatologist so do I tell them the extra imformation thank you
