Hi
I am in the ESA Support group and get £73.10 plus £36.20. I get high rate DLA for both care and mobility. My husband works full time and we have no children at home. I do not get any IR ESA. I was wondering if I qualify for an enhanced disability premium of ESA.

Hi Jessica,
I'm afraid that premiums are payable only to those receiving IR ESA. You would be precluded from this by the fact that your hubbie works more than 24 hours per week, irrespective of his earnings.

There are two problems.
First he would need to show that he could provide 35 hours of care a week despite his working and secondly there is an earning limit of £110 per week,

Thank you Gordon.
Can I just say what an amazing job all you moderators do. I would never have been able to go through this whole process of applying and being successful in getting ESA Support Group if it wasn't for this site. I would probably have just given up.
