Hi,
I have my pip assessment next week, read all the guides on here and taken in as much information as I possibly can.

Am I right in thinking that I should just answer all the Atos assessment questions openly and honestly, sticking to the facts as stated in my pip2?

I just want to also confirm that I can take all results and consultation reports with me that I have collected since submitting my form?

Sorry about this but nerves are getting to me and my head feels like a bag of spanners!!!
Regards Ted

Yes, you should answer the questions honestly, but give some thought to the question before doing so, typically they will ask a couple of open questions followed by a closed one.

Open questions typically start with how, why, when, who, etc,.

Closed questions attempt to limit the answer to yes or no and you will be pushed to answer in this format. You might want to consider reversing the obvious answer and qualifying it with an explanation. So as an example

question "so you can do x?"

the obvious answer may be "yes, but only when..." but it may serve you better to answer "no, I can only do it when...".

If you have information that has been produced since you sent your PIP2 form in then you should hand it to the assessor at the start of the interview, ask then to read it before proceeding and include it in your file for return to the DWP.

Just by way of update, had my assessment for pip today, assessor was ex nurse, courteous, professional and polite.
Will just have to wait and see what happens now, not what I expected at all after reading some horror stories.
Irrespective of the outcome I would like to thank the mods on here for the guidance and preparation you have given me, it greatly helped me today.
Regards
Ted
