Why do these people not keep my historical evidence as my claim is of a degenerative nature and is clearly stated by various consultants at London Hospitals.

I have spoken with the people at the wembly offices and I questions why they do not keep my previous submissions as I have never had to have a medical. I find it very hard work to go through all my consultants notes etc which is now in access of 80 pages which I send in a seperate binded folder as well as my ESA Questionair which is computer downloaded and printed and also sent complete in a binded folder.

Hi d,
Welcome to Benefits and Work
I am afraid that you will have to treat this ESA50 and any subsequent future ones that you may receive on being reassessed as if it was your first.
Do not assume that The Maximus Assessor will have access to any of your historical evidence, they may not even know which ESA "group" that you are in.
If you can provide enough evidence once more, there may be no need for a face to face assessment.
This is why it helps to use the PDF ESA50 as you then have a complete copy of your previous Assessment/Re-Assessment evidence which you can amend and make current when necessary.
You will need to show that you still qualify for your current award, and that your medical conditions have not improved, nor have the resulting limitations diminished to such an extent that you no longer qualify for your current award.
If it is the case, you can also mention that you have received no new procedures or medications since your last assessment nor have you learnt to better adapt to, or manage your limitations.
Obviously, if your medical condition/s have changed or deteriorated to such an extent that your resulting limitations have increased you will have to make that clear to them also.
I am afraid this is how the ESA system works, where normally the longest period between re-assessments is 3 years.
That's why it is known as "The ESA Merry-Go-Round" !!
Only it is not so "Merry" !!!

Best guess is 3-4 weeks or 3-4 months depending on where you are.

Hi d,
We are not aware of timescales with respect to particular offices.
Gordon's comment was generic !
Besides, timescales could vary from week to week dependent on availability of Assessors and the particular workload at that time.
