Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Have you had a new Decision Letter as a result of the Mandatory Reconsideration being completed?

If not then there is still a chance for you to send information in regard to the MR, although I do have to warn you that the turnover rate for MR's is quite low.

If the MR has been completed and you now have an MR Notice, then you can go to appeal, have a look at our PIP Appeal guide which has links to the form you will need to complete and instructions on how to complete it. See

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip

Your primary goal at MR or appeal is to show that you meet the criteria for the award you think you deserve, I would have a good look at our PIP Claim guide, the PIP2 form only covers the criteria at a high level and it is easy to have missed a vital element that has prevented you from scoring points.

If you have not already done so then you should request a copy of the Assessment report, this can be done by phoning the DWP, but I would follow up the request in writing.

If you need any help then reply to this post and we will do our best to help.

Gordon

Hi DD,

Don't miss your one month deadline to appeal directly to The Tribunal Service (TS) using copy of your MR Notice letter and The : SSCS 1 Form. (Download Link)

You can submit fresh evidence to The TS right up until 10-14 days before your hearing.

Hi DD,

Yes, the quality of the PIP PA4 Medical Reports does seem to be deteriorating fast !!

If you are going to challenge any errant statements within the report as part of your appeal try and concentrate on the ones that are contrary to you being awarded Points where you should have.

Have a read through the latest version of : The PIP Assessment Guide which was updated on 28th July 2015.

Which advises PIP Assessors "how" they should carry out a F2F !

You might find : This Post helpful.
