Received the dreaded brown envelope

Hi I'm new here I'm currently in receipt of ESA support group and DLA HRC LRM, my DLA is due to end in July and so is my ESA I am absolutely dreading the whole process again

My question is it possible to receive PIP higher rate if you don't get the actual physical supervision of a person being there despite me feeling like I need the support, I read in the guides about help that you need but don't get would the DM look at this I a negative or a positive way, sorry if this post is not making sense I'm feeling petrified of all these changes and have very little support, I suffer with depression, anxiety and type 2 diabetes.

Many thanks for the reply, hopefully I will qualify for pip but not feeling hopeful, just having the dreaded wait now for the form to come through the post.

Hi I posted a couple of days ago, today I received the brown envelope "inviting" me to apply for pip my question is my DLA award ends in July 2016 I get HRC and LRM should I wait 2 more weeks before ringing up to apply or should I do it now?I am aware if I do it now I could lose out on moneyI'm absolutely dreading this whole process

Hi Rainbow,

I have merged your query with your previous PIP questions as it helps us enormously if everything relating to one subject is kept in the same place.

As long as you conform to the timescales laid down by DWP, it doesn't really matter exactly when you start the process. I times mine so that the paperwork would arrive after a short break but would be completed in good time before my planned op - you might have similar reasons for starting now or delaying.
