The person filling in my forms who knows best apart from Drs, is attaching typed sheets to the the esa50 form. They are adding as they did on forms 3years ok when I then after a consideration due to them loosing evidence got placed directly a week later in support group with out a medical.
I would think approx. 3-4sheets were added to each question. This was because my illness is complex and by using your guide, it seemed to cover what was needed. He tried to be a direct and not waffle on. It was typed as they cannot write clearly. How ever my paranoia has kicked in. I was worried if it looks to much to read the DWP person will think... Too much to read, can't be bothered, and definitely hand it straight to WCA, and not even consider early intervention to support group with out F-F, like last time. We haven't much longer to go, and to retype would take him ages. Is he and myself overthinking it? If Its shortened to much it won't give full picture..'.Blimmey its so stressful... like playing chess blinds fold!! Thanks alot. Sorry to be a burden.

Hi
You cannot supply too much information or evidence.
The people processing and awarding your claim have to read it all.
If they do not give you an award and miss evidence you supplied you can make formal complaints and appeal citing their negligence.

:) Just wanted to thank you for advice and this site. I sent my form back, it was a renewal. I had been in ESA support for 3years no medical. Then in Feb 20 got a review. Got help filling it in, had less supporting letters, as I no longer get a CPN, due to cut backs.... But I got letter back 2 weeks after I sent it, saying I am again in Support Group. No medical has been asked for.... Yet!.. fingers crossed it stays this way. Just to say thanks. I would say each question was answered in full, and was about 1 A4, sheet, as I have complex mental health. I stapled to form. Was worried it was to much, but person who wrote it felt it was honest, and factual.

My query is 2 things... could I be called for a medical later, even though there was no mention of
, and 2...It says my award if from 20Feb 2016- 2 December 2016. My illness is long term, so I'm not sure how they work out prognosis?...10 months seems very short  . Will I get another form before this date as I head they send them early. Just want to be prepared as I got extremely ill with this form, an am still recovering.. Its very near Xmas, when I'm at my worse too. I'm happy, but a little let down, as It feels such a short time. Will I get another one this October? as that's how Ive worked it out. I guess I just be prepared an try not to over think it, an get myself well again, as I was nearly put in hospital through the stress. I guess I should also be ready for PIP as well, as I see peoples have this now. Thanks, I'm not complain as I know Ive been luckier that some, its just me needing to know that I should get ready this year, ad not 2017 like I had expected.

Hi bd,

A reserved congratulations !!!! :)

I will merge your other ESA related queries with this one for continuity !

From the sound of it, this letter could well be your ESA SG Decision Notice letter as a result of being placed into The SG once more at reassessment.

However, the way things are, it could just be the annual "uprating" entitlement letter that is sent to ESA recipients every year !!!

They are being sent out presently !!

".It says my award if from 20Feb 2016- 2 December 2016."

I wouldn't worry about this, as even if you have been placed into The SG once more as a result of your re-assessment, Decision Notices do not include the "length" of the award and the 02/12/16 date is tied into payment of The Xmas Bonus which is payable from the first pay week of December each year.

i.e. Your ESA payment would not cease on 02/12/16, but the amount that you would be entitled to in that pay week would be different as it would include The Xmas Bonus.

The only way to be sure is to ring ESA : THE ESA PHONE NUMBER DWP : 0345 608 8545 (Open 8AM-6PM. Mon-Fri.) where they should be able to confirm on-screen whether you have been placed into The SG once more.

If they confirm that you have, you could also ask them to tell you of the recommended date for your next reassessment.

You could also request all your ESA Documentation in anticipation of your next reassessment, see : This Post

If the decision has been made, they cannot require you to attend a F2F until the time of your next reassessment, and even then a paper based assessment can be carried out once more , rather than a F2F, if you again provide enough evidence.

Please return here to let us know one way or the other !!!! :)

Thanks bro58. How can I tell difference from an award letter to an uprating one please. I think it was an updating as you've said. Didn't know there was such a thing. Just thought I would check. If it is then I guess I'm back to a waiting game an not out of the woods yet. Many thanks. I check back as soon as I'm able. Person who read letter to me just assumed It was my award, as I'd sent claim in. I dint look as I couldn't cope. I only posted here as I thought award was short. if its an uprating, it makes sense. I'm glad I asked, but worried again, an in limbo. Thanks for your patience. onwards and upwards.
