As I have been awarded ESA Support Group until July 2019, do I still need to have a Fit Note from my GP?.

As long as your ESA is now in payment at the SG rate then you don't need to send in further Fit Notes, if you are still receiving the assessment rate then you need an active Fit Note on file.
