ATOS Medical Assessment - anorexia?

Hi, I am still awaiting my pip decision (it has been 5 weeks since my f2f assessment) anyway, I called the dwp to request a copy of my assessment 2 weeks ao and it has not yet arrived. Do you think I should call them to chase it up? I don't like hassling them but I would hate to think such a personal document could have gone astray! Any ideas how long it usually takes for them to send out copies of assessments?

It usually takes around 10 - 14 days to get the assessment report. It will not hurt to phone and give DWP a nudge if it does not arrive soon. You can follow it up in writing if you want to make sure there is a paper trail.

Really annoyed! I called the DWP this morning as it has been a fortnight since I rang for a copy of my assessment and she said it has not even been posted out yet! I asked why and she said they are short staffed and have a backlog but it has been passed on to the relevant dept and it should be sent out soon! I told the lady I was disappointed as I was initially told it would take around 10 days but she said there was nothing she could do!

So the wait goes on........ I have a feeling they are going to take longer notifying people of their awards too if they are understaffed and have backlogs! My assessment was 5 weeks ago so I was hoping to hear soon! I bet the DPW staff are all off on their hols now that the kids have broken up for Summer!

Sorry but I jave paranoid thoughts abd suffer from anxiety so rand dwp again today. The person I spoke to says she would chase up my pip assessment and ask for it to be sent asap. Do you think they are stalling it fir a reason? Usually people receive a copy within 10 days. It has been over two weeks and they still haven't even posted me a copy??? How much effort does it take to make a copy of a report and post it out?

Took my report 3 weeks to arrive. Try not not to stress yourself out about it everyone plays the waiting game. As the saying goes - You are not alone.
