IB to ESA - over 6 months ?

After weeks of building up to it, my Wife finally made the call to ATOS yesterday, she was shaking whilst she was trying to dial the number, she is in such a state over all this.

Anyway she got through and asked what was happening and was told that she has to see someone and they are waiting to arrange an appointment, they said "it will take as long as it takes" and that she just has to wait till they contact her.

They could give her no idea how long this would be and were not very interested at all.

My Wife had been hoping that being that it has gone on so long that she wouldn't be made to attend a face to face interview and is now in floods of tears as it appears that she will.

I guess we shall just have carry on waiting.

after waiting 13 months, my Wife has today received a letter with her appointment for next week. The centre she has to attend is about 15 miles away.

she has got herself in a terrible state, I dread to think what she will be like on the day.

it has been hanging over our heads for so long and now it has arrived she is distraught.

just thought I would update as 13 months is a long time and it isn't over yet.

thanks Gordon, I have printed it off, I will try to go through it with my Wife, at the moment she is too distressed to take much in.
