TOPIC: Success WRAG to Support group

Dear Benefits and Work Team
My appeal date arrived however a few days before the appeal I was contacted by the court clerk and advised I did not need to attend as the Judge had reviewed the papers and found in my favour having agreed with the Doctor that the DWP decision was wrong. Therefore I was moved from WRAG to the Support Group.

For all the folk who are going through this awful process, read this forum fully , take the advise on the forum and document everything you do. I also got in touch with my MP and got their support and they helped by writing on my behalf and gave me copies of responses giving valuable contact details and also information in writing that we could not obtain.

DO DO keep going if you feel from the information on the forum you have a case. it can be done and a MASSIVE thank you for all the support the team have given me it has been fantastic.

That is great news Ray! Thanks for letting us know, it really does give our members hope when they hear of positive outcomes. Thanks also for your kind words about this site :)

I'm afraid that it can take several months before DWP action this change, you might be able to speed this up by sending them a copy of the tribunal decision letter when it arrives.

If you wish to know when to expect reassessment you can contact DWP (when they have actioned the changes) and ask for the 'prognosis' or you can ask for a copy of the paperwork associated with your claim.
Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Brilliant news Ray, although I only read your post I can sense you are so so happy, well done and not having to go through the tribunal is even better.
