I'm posting for my brother. He is on ESA support and higher levels of PIP. He has terminal cancer, and we have submitted two DS1500 forms in the course of his claiming history. He has outlived his prognosis, but remains on chemotherapy and considered a terminal patient. He has just received a letter asking him to attend a DWP assessment re his ESA. He's pretty anxious, and he is also very ill. Does anyone have any advice?

This is concerning, even if no new DS1500 was issued I would have expected them to automatically have qualified for the Support Group if they were still receiving Chemotherapy, was the relevant section on the latest ESA50 completed by the doctor?
