PIP withdrawn after review was created by Wonga74
Hi
I was expecting my PIP payment this morning, I called DWP who could only advise me that the draft had been stopped and would get somebody to call me back.
They have called back to let me know that I have lost my PIP, I have not received a Decision letter as they told me the decision was made on the 31st July, do they not need to notify a person in writing before stopping payment and is PIP not paid in arrears?
I had to appeal the last time, but I was awarded the original claim until March 2018 at Mandatory Reconsideration thanks to B&W. This time the process has been on-going since March this year. This whole process is wrong as I will now have financial issues due to the inappropriate timings and will cause my condition to deteriorate.
I suffer from Dissociative Seizures, daily chronic headaches & anxiety to name a few of my ailments which prevent me from holding down a full time job.
Why do they make you feel like you are not worthy and that you need to beg for help!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

PIP Is paid four weekly in arrears so you will receive a further payment, it's going to be an ad hoc payment, if you haven't received it tomorrow then give the DWP a call.
I'm afraid the claimant will almost always receive late notification of a change to their claim, Decision as usually actioned immediately but it can take days, even longer before the claimant receives the written notification.
Let us know if you need help with your MR.

Hi Gordon
Thanks for the response, I will give them a call in the morning, hopefully they will be a bit more helpful than today.
The lady at DWP was rather rude when asked about the decision letter/notice & could not understand that I would not have received it since everything is 2nd class post and usually take about a fortnight to arrive at the address and the only reason I found out was due to the payment not being made, it's a lot of money to not know you are losing especially at the start of a month.
There needs to be a better way to do things rather than the structure that's currently in place.
