Does anyone know how long it's taking for Pip reviews in Scotland?
My daughter was receiving DLA til age of 16 then was sent the Pip form. She was awarded for 3 years with a review after 2 years.
I've sent away the review form. Any idea how it might go? Nothing has really changed. I've written information in every descriptor to explain that the difficulties she faces still. I have a letter of support from her Gp and copy of repeat prescription. Do you think she will need to go for another assessment?
I'm afraid most of our members do not identify what parts of the country they are from when they post on the forum, so we only at best, catch glimpses of what is happening in particular regions of the country.
There were long delays in the PIP assessment process across most of the country a couple of months ago, since then we have had very few members updating us on the delays so we are unsure whether they are as bad as they were.
At their worst the delay was up to 16 weeks, even if it has improved I think you are still looking at a minimum of 8 weeks.
We haven't determined any pattern to when members have been called to an assessment, frankly it does not seem to matter how you have filled in the form on what you conditions are, there is the potential for you to be called to a F2F.
