Tax man and DWP.

I don't know if this is common knowledge but just been reading an article about a disabled man who won £80k on the lottery and spent it all. The DWP stopped his disabled benefits because the tax man had told the DWP he had £80k in his bank account which he spent in a matter of months.

But he is the twist he is not entitled to benefits now that he has spent his winning because he deprived himself of the £80k.

Just to be aware everyone, wondered why my banks wanted my NI No. seems it is a new rule that banks are required to get your Ni No from you.
