Could someone please advise me. A friend is on ESA Support( income related) but now moved in with his dad who is retired and has private pensions. Will he lose his ESA or possibly have it reduced? due the greater household income? Thank you.

His father will not be considered as part of his household so the pension will have no effect on his ESA but if he is receiving the Severe Disability Premium as part of his ESA then this may be removed as one of the requirements is that the claimant live alone, however, if the father receives DLA, PIP or AA then he may still be classed as living alone.
