PIP review early - lose PIP? was created by mosala
My PIP runs out Dec 2019. I have just got an award review arrive a year early. If they mark me down for whatever reason, will I still get PIP til December or will it stop early? Maybe they are hoping to get me off the PIP system before July, when I will be 65 and then no longer qualify for PIP?!

If no award is made as a result of this reassessment then your payments will stop immediately.

If you have an award of PIP before your 65th birthday then it will continue after you are 65 but be aware, you cannot be awarded the Mobility component or have it increased from Standard to Enhanced once you reach 65 even if you meet the criteria.
