2 PIP assessment meetings? was created by Neil44
Hi, our eldest is swapping from DLA to PIP as of September.
We had our face to face assessment in December but have just received an appointment for exactly the same in January even though we haven't heard anything about the first one yet?
Is this normal and if so what is the second one about and what should we expect?
Thanks for any help
Neil

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

We've seen this happening a lot lately, for some reason the original report was either not satisfactory or not filed at all. Unfortunately, their claim cannot progress without a satisfactory report being produced.

You might want to consider making a complaint.

Ive tried to change the name but it doesn't give me the edit option, does that work when on mobile or just on a pc?

So I guess we just go to the 2nd assessment and do it all again then?
Just what a overly anxious child wants eh!!
