H I, I have an ongoing PIP appeal that keeps getting put back, with them saying they are very very busy. Today i received a texf from DWP which has nver happened before from number 0191 6444813 saying """""since we received yopu PIP appeal, we have looked all the evidence again. We can change our decision but we need your agreement to do so, please call on 01916444813""" is this legit & or has anyone heard of such practice?? im concerned it may be a scam
It is possible that the DWP are going to offer a revised Decision.
You can accept it in which case your appeal will be lapsed (cancelled), although you can request a new one if you wish, or you can reject the offer and continue with your appeal. If you decide to accept but intend to make a new appeal then don't tell the DWP or the offer will be withdrawn.
