Getting Evidence from GP was created by snowbird
I wrote a letter to my GP over two weeks ago,
asking for a support letter for a home assesment
and a summary print out of my medical records.

I have had no reply from my GP, so i rang the surgery
this morning, the receptionst told me any request
for reports etc, has got nothing to do with the NHS.

She told me any requests to do with PIP.
will only be dealt with by the GP out of hours.

Has anyone else had this problem?

We are hearing about this more and more often, I think the implication is that if you are willing to pay they may be able to produce a report for you.

It certainly looks like it Gordon.

It seems the system is making it harder
for claimants to get any medical evidence
from the NHS to help with a claim for PIP.
