ESA was created by Kimbychick
Hi,
I received a large form yesterday regarding ESA I received from 22/11/2011 to 5/4/2012, after a change over from incapacity benefit.
It seems to be saying I could be owed some money from that period. Can you please tell me why I may have received this? Also do you know how much money I could be owed as it isn't over a long period of time?
I was very confused by this so any info would be very helpful.
Thank you.

Thanks Gordon.
That is helpful although I am still a bit unsure as the dates on my letter are only for a 4 month period. My ESA wasn't renewed in 2012. I had my first child and was moved to income support. I have still been receiving DLA then PIP since then.
Is it worth me still filling in the form and sending it back for such a short period of time nearly 8 years ago?

Whether you wish to complete the form or not is entirely up to you, the minimum payment, if eligible. would be about £15/week so maybe £200-£300.
