Hi there, my daughter in law has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, the type where you have relapses. These relapses can last for weeks and so becomes so reliable for help from friends and family. I've told her to apply for PIP but because her body functions return back to normal, she doesn't think it's worth applying for.
Has any of you moderators helped people with the same health problem, or do you agree with my daughter in law and think it's not worth applying for. If you know of anyone whose claimed pip successfully, what did they write down in the forum?
If you do know of anyone, is there any way through the forum I can contact them.
Many thanks,
Tarka

They would need to show that they meet the criteria for an award on the majority of days

Has she looked at the criteria that she needs to meet?
