Suggestion? To free up Mods time??

This site is so, so helpful, great advice.

I just had a small thought, throw it out the window if you disagree
You must get some many messages each day. Often it will be same question
and same advice given.

The way I see this site is to search on the Forum first and you may just realise someone else has asked the same question as yourself and then you see the reply.

This happened to me today, so I did not need to contact the Moderator

Just a thought. We are all very anxious and emotionally so drained by this.
I am slowing down now, taking things in small steps, and understanding more by doing in this.

It's purely to save these great people to have free time to other queries which may be
more complex.

I am in no way saying the site should changed. I think it is held together extremely well and with great guideline and advice from people.
I wiew these people as facilitators they can point you in the right direction but they cannot help individual cases in any shape of form. You know when they want to end a question as they allow no future comments.

I have been a Mod for nearly 5 years, and in that time we have tried different ways to encourage members to read the forum, check our : "Members Only" Guides , use our : Search Facility or consult : FAQ's before posting.

As advised on This Page.

We also post the link below for new members when they first post.

Welcome to Benefits and Work

This site has a "Wealth of Information" if members took the time to look for it !

A large minority sign up, then rush to post on the forum before looking anywhere else !!

We are here really to supplement the guides and explain anything that members are unsure of.

We don't mind helping when and where we can, that's why we volunteer, and we understand human nature in that many new members are in a state of panic and anxiety when they first sign up !!

It can become quite tiresome though, when you have answered the same query 4 or 5 times within one hour and a half session, but "hey ho" !!!

This is why we use links !
