It's your assessment and the assessor will only be interested in your problems, they are only interested in your entitlement to PIP, they have nothing to do with ESA.
The assessment is for ESA not PIP. Will this make a difference in how they view him being there?

Hi
No it won't.
You have to claim ESA as you have split.
It may help if he says why you still share the property, maybe he is waiting for a property to move into.
I lived in the property with my ex after we split until I was allocated a council flat suitable for my needs.

Thanks foss27, that's why we are still in the same house as I can't afford to move out. Hopefully, he'll be satisfied that nothing in the assessment is going to impact on him and he is just there as a support for me.

Sorry too many post this afternoon
But my advice stands, the assessor is only concerned with whether you meet the criteria for an award or not.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
