Hello.
Sorry you must be probably not happy with this question but I can't find anything about it.
My question is...I went for my medical for PIP yesterday and I was wondering how quickly can I ask for a copy of the report, I think it is a PA4 form but if wrong I stand corrected.
Please can you tell me how to obtain this info and who I should call and advise on what I should say as I don't want to cock up any forth coming decision.
Thank you :P

You can request it from the DWP office dealing with your claim, I would wait until next week to do so.

Decisions are currently taking about 8 weeks.

If I asked the relevant DWP office do you think, that they'll think I am being a bit keen wanting to know so fast? because 8 weeks for a decision is quiet a bit away yet and I wouldn't want to balls owt up.

The DWP office dealing with my claim would that be the one right at the top right of the 1st of 40 page of your claim?
thanks again Gordon

It's perfectly normal for a claimant to ask for the report.

Yes it is that address that you want.

Hello everyone.
Just a quick question I'd like answering please.
I went for my medical for PIP or assessment if you like. on the 26th April 2016.
I spoke with Gordon a couple of weeks ago on the website and he told me that I can ask for a PA4 Form the next time I speak with the DWP, So today I called them, I got through to a nice chap who was helpful but he did say that my assessment report has not come back yet and if I could I can call the DWP back up next Tuesday the of 17th May, please can anyone tell me if this sounds like normal practice? because as I say I went on the 26th of April I reckon it is around 3 weeks ago. I hope the Assessment lady has not lost anything regarding my claim.
So the anguish goes on....

thanks again Mick. :(

Hi Mick,

I am in the process of merging all of your previous questions about your PIP claim into one topic. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one place - and I hope you will find it useful too.

It does sometimes happen that the PA4 form takes a while to reach DWP. A certain proportion are kept back for quality review, for instance. Apart from that, the PIP system seems to be getting ever slower at the moment.

I know it is hard when you are so anxious about the whole thing! There is no harm in phoning DWP at intervals to find out what is happening. The only other thing I can suggest is contacting your MP. It is surprising how often someone's form finds its way to the top of the pile after an MP has become involved!

Contacting your MP

You might want to bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future. That will allow you to return with further questions/comments without having to start a new topic each time :)
