How would we go about filling in the form next time as this is a completely new situation for us.
I know there's a good chance UC will be in force by then, but should we do things any differently?
It's my partner wanting to know all the information btw. She suffers from anxiety and hasn't been able to settle since the ESA50 came at the end of November (to be returned by Boxing Day).
The ESA85 made no mention of any activities or descriptors, and we have nothing in writing regarding award lengths. It's a good description of me though, can't fault them there.
DWP have been less than useless too. Every time my partner has rang them, they've hung up when she starts asking simple questions. All she wanted was confirmation of the activity I qualify for SG under.
The forms for ESA and UC are identical apart from the cosmetic changes as are the Descriptors you will be assessed against.
Our advice is to treat each ESA50 as if it is a new claim, complete the form in detail and provide evidence as you can even if it has been sent before.
