Thank you very much, Gordon. Can I just clear one other thing up, please. Will I get any PIP / ESA payment at all while awaiting re-assessment? Some descriptors, but not all, have changed. Sorry to be a nuisance, but this could help others reading this, too.

I can't guarantee it, either the DWP will suspend your payments or they won't, it is down to a Decision Maker.

Hi Gordon,

So, is a decision maker involved at the reporting of changes stage, as well as re-assessment? There is not much info at all about the details of what occurs following a report of a change, and I suspect from other message boards that a few simply wait for their next assessment, and so don't risk ending up with no money. It hardly seems fair, when one should be honest about these matters.

Yes, a Decision Maker is involved at the start of the process to decide whether an assessment is required, it almost always is and whether your payments need to be suspended or not. At the end, they decide whether you still qualify for an award.
