Hi everyone i received a text from DWP today saying " We have now got all your info we need to to decide your PIP claim. We will send you a decision letter once we have made our decision".

I take it this means the assessor who carried out my home assessment has submitted her report?

Sorry i should have included in my last question can i now request a copy of the assessors report? and if so is it the DWP office dealing with my claim or Atos.

Hi Mary,

Yes, the text message is very common and indicates that the assessment provider has forwarded your file to DWP.

You can ask for the assessor's report by phoning DWP.

Hi everyone hope you are all well.......ok i didn't receive the dreaded brown envelope in my case..due to phone settings lol...it was the dreaded pink text at 8am this morning! first one saying "they have decided i qualify for PIP! and the second they will make my first payment into the account i gave them within two weeks!! and a letter will follow so i dont know if its standard or enhanced.... firstly i am stunned i only got my medical last Monday 11th July! secondly i don't know how to feel its been so stressful i am just numb! can i ask a few questions?

1. i know this is silly but i just need someone to say it to me! this does mean i got PIP doesn't it?

2. they mention the account i gave them i didn't give any bank details in the form? i am on ESA at the moment so will they use these details that they already have?

3. I started my claim by telephone on the 13th May will they backdate my payments till then?
