Just curious to know what the current situation is with regards to the de-referral of ESA50's that was mentioned earlier in the year?

There are no real updates!

New ESA50s are clearly being issued because we are seeing both existing members and new ones receiving one, but the rate is certainly down from what it has been in the past, waiting times do not appear to have reduced significantly and are still in the region of 12 months.

CB, there has been no further public announcement. Some of our members have received ESA50 forms for reassessment, many are past their expected reassessment and have heard nothing.

We suggest that members start filling in the PDF version of the form and keep it updated as you go along. That way you won't have as much to do when the forms do arrive.

I have been reading on the Internet that people in the Support Group after 65 weeks are referred to a department to issue a letter to invite them for compliance interview.

Is there any truth in this?
