Guides and FAQ's are excellent many thanks.
Checked last bank statement and it has mt NI number followed by DWP IB so
it seems I am still there nine month later.
Horrified by the thought that this migration could happen without me knowing. As
there is a delay before I receive statements I could easily be transferred
where I do not want and not be able to appeal within a month. Weird.
Thanks.
Hi b,
Don't worry !
So it would seem that you are still in receipt of IB, so how you now proceed is a matter of choice, rather than necessity.
Unfortunately, there have been claimants who have been transferred over to ESA, without being informed.
A claimant is entitled to a Written Decision Notice letter by law, however, sometimes they "go missing"
Fortunately, a late appeal can be made up to 13 months after an adverse decision.
It may be advisable to keep an eye on your bank account and the payee reference.
There is also a guide entitled :
"Being transferred from incapacity benefit to employment and support allowance. A 22 page guide to the transfer process." It's the top link on this page :
ESA Claims Guides Please keep us updated.
