2 Year Reprieve was created by Angela
Good evening

Given the recent developments with Atos, I am unsure if I am likely to fall into the ‘2 year reprieve’ category or not - my details are as follows:

On 12 March 2013 I was placed in the ESA Support Group without a medical, which was backdated to 25 November 2012 – I have recently found out from the DWP that I was placed in the Support Group for a period of 1 year.

Between the Christmas and New Year holidays 2013, I received another ESA50 (Limited capability for work questionnaire) to complete. I completed this and returned it by recorded delivery on Thursday 16 January 2014 which was delivered to the Wolverhampton delivery office on Friday 17 January 2014.

By Monday 24 February 2014, I still hadn’t heard anything and called the DWP who confirmed that they had received my form on Monday 20 January 2014 and that it is still with Atos and advised me to call them. Atos advised that they are waiting on an available appointment for me to come for a medical assessment and I will be notified accordingly.

I would be most grateful for your opinion on this matter.

Many thanks

Jas

I am afraid that you are not as you already have an assessment "in flight".
