Hello I am on Esa CB support group... I want to ask please if I still need to ask for a fit note from my GP eventhough I resigned from work?... and shall I tell my GP that I already resigned from work? Thank you.
As long as DWP recognise that you are in the Support group, and you are getting paid accordingly, there is no need to submit further sicknotes/fitnotes. What sometimes happens in that claimants are awarded ESA, in either group, at Tribunal and have to keep submitting sick notes because the DWP system has not yet caught up with that fact!
