Have to go for a medical next friday.Last time i went the Atos Dr said i was unfit for work for the forseeable future .but still got put in work related esa .am also on DLA with motability.I do have mental problems as well as physical .I am so depressed

ESA has two groups, the WRAG which is for claimants who are deemed as Unfit for Work and the Support Group which is for those who are classed as unable to carry out, what is referred to as Work Related Activity.
You can prepare for the medical by having a look at our ESA Claim guides, these explain in detail how you qualify for each group and the tests that are used. There is also a section towards the back of the guides that covers the assessment process and the questions you are likely to be asked.
