PIP

Started my pip application January 7th 2014
Returned the completed paper work by end of January
Had a F2F assessment on 7th April by a Disability nurse who was very professional and understanding
Not heard anything yet so got in touch with D.W.P. today who say they have not had a report from Capita yet and advised me to contact them.
Contacted Capita who told me this was not unusual as they are very busy.
So its been 21 weeks and still waiting.

I sent mine in a little earlier and still waiting for F2F as per their letter .....

I am glad your assessment went well but sorry about the wait. As you probably know your not the only one. Thanks for keeping us posted.

I'm sorry to hear that it is taking so long to get a decision on your claim. Unfortunately, this is not unusual

You can complain to DWP and Capita but that will not speed up the process. We are recommending that claimants contact their MPs, sometimes they can get things moving, at the very worst they cannot say that they don't know how badly the system is treating people!

Thanks for the info. I've sent emails to my M.P. and Capita. Probably not get me anywhere but lets the the powers that be know that the system as it is is not fit for purpose.

If everyone complains maybe the system will be altered.
