i am in esa support group and i have received job centre plus letter to attend a group session with one of the work coaches in the job centre plus to discuss the support available to me. When i was awarded my essa support the letter indicated that i do not need to attend any work foccused interviews.

We are not aware of any activity, such as this, that is required for members of the Support Group, I would suggest you contact who ever sent the letter, JC+ or the DWP and ask what it is about and why you have been sent it.

I have heard of some SG claimants being 'offered' support. However if you are sure you are not in the WRAG it should not be mandatory. However I would confirm this and not just miss the appointment.

Hi,
When I was placed in the SG by a non f2f, I too had a letter from Jobcentre pus asking me to attend a 'interview'.
We wrote to Jobcentre plus with a copy to ATOS/DWP, explaining as I was in the SG there was no requirement to visit for an interview , job coach or any other activivty as long as I remained in the SG.
We also spoke to the Jobcentreplus lady who wrote the letter explaining this all to her.
Never heard back from any one after this.
I suppose as long as you explain matters to them and follow it up with paperwork all is ok.

Is that deliberate or a 'freudian slip'?
