Hi ,as you know I put in for a M R re the decision ESA-wrag. I send off the info for why I thought I should be put in the SG 15/10/14 by rec post,got a letter back week later to say they got it etc. Before that I requested a statement of facts from the DWP on there decision,but never got an answer to that.
This morning I got a text message to my mobile number ESA Appeals,I opened it to read the following
ESA Appeals have received further information from you and your claim is being reviewed.We will contact you with an outcome shortly.You do not need to contact us.
Was wondering is this the nor now as I have not seen this on other posts,the other members say they just got a call out of the blue from the DWP to ask them questions.
Hope I get the outcome I think I am entiled to as it will save me a lot of hassle,which I don't need.
The DWP have started sending out these "alerts" to claimants as milestones in a claim or MR are reached, obviously they have to have details of the claimants mobile number for this to happen, it's an attempt to provide better engagement with their "customers".
I suspect we would all like them to put a little less effort into being touchy feely and more into getting Decisions right in the first place.
