Submitting Evidence for HB was created by DaPa
Every 6 months I have to supply information to Housing Benefit Department, this includes Pay Slips and occasionally bank statements.
It is sent into Benefits Department in my local council.
My question is does this information get passed onto the DWP?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

There is no specific reason for them to do so and the Housing Benefit computer system are specific to the council, but I could not state with 100% certainty that the DWP would not see them.
If there is information in these documents that would be of interest to the DWP, then you would be best notifying them directly.

They are fully aware of the funds I have.
In a way I was hoping that the information was passed on, it would hopefully be no need to send out one of these 'Benefit Checks' letter

Data Protection will prevent a lot of information being shared, also JC+ where the letters are coming from do not have full access to a claimants computer record, for example their medical information is not displayed.
As a general comment and for anybody reading this post in isolation, you cannot assume that information, such as a change of address or a Change of Circumstances will be communicated between departments, it is a requirement on the claimant that they notify all of the agencies that they receive benefits from.
