Hi dont know if you can answer this or not but here goes. PIP is not counted as income i've been told so can the local authority still take it into account as income when calculating your contribution towards Care package Thankyou

Although PIP and DLA are not included for Social Security benefits and Housing Benefit the PIP Daily Living Allowance and DLA Care component are taken into account when calculating a claimants income in regard to a Local Authority care package.
