Winter Fuel Allowance was created by Little Jim
Hi
I qualify for winter fuel allowance for the first time this year.
Born before July 1952 I am On ESA support(Contribution). I assumed that it would be paid with my benefit, but up until now i have not received it. Can enquiring about this trigger a reaction as i have been on ESA for nearly 2 years, also i have been reading about people on support being called into job centres.

According to the Gov UK site, payment should be automatic, but if you have not received it then you need to apply for it, see

www.gov.uk/winter-fuel-payment/overview

there is no reason why your doing so should result in a re-assessment of your claim.
