delay of wca repeat referrals

Does anyone know if DWP is still delaying wca repeat referrals if one is due this year. Thankyou. Last year if you were due one they were being delayed for 2 years.

I am afraid that we have no new updates on this situation.

I am sure that reassessments will be reinstated as and when, on an office by office, area by area basis, dependent on the backlog in each individual office/area.

I don't think that there will be any national announcement by The DWP stating that the backlog has been dealt with and reassessments will now recommence as usual.

They are not very forthcoming with any information that may put the claimant at ease.

It was only after the Tory Minister was dragged in front of Parliament that he admitted that deferral of reassessments had begun in January 2014.

Your only other option is to phone ESA to see whether they have your date for re-referal on screen.
