Thanks bro58. I see it also says that the SoR can take 3 months to be provided, so it could be up to 5 months before the time expires for the DWP to appeal and the claimant can ask the FTT to direct the DWP to action their decision.

Back payment of arrears are all well and good but many people, particularly those who are disabled and in ill-health, are likely to be homeless and dead from starvation after being without any income for 5 months!

Hi DJ,

Yes, it can take some months for The FTT, to provide the S of R once requested, but at least you would know whether or not The DWP had requested The S of R within the month deadline if you contacted The FTT.

I totally agree with your last paragraph !

It is simply not good enough !!
